We may have ordered the black gloves, but rest assured this was a white glove service purchase in ALL respects. The emails, the hand-written follow-up note, the speed of the delivery, and of course the elegant, well-fitted gloves themselves and the darling glove box are beautiful and beyond expectation. If your attire requires the extra touch of opera gloves, buy these. Do NOT be fooled by cheap polyester, uncomfortable, sweaty, lumpy imitations. You'll never wear those. Cornelia James gloves are gloves to treasure for a lifetime.

Slightly loose on the top of the arms but comfortable. Tips of nails slightly loose and not snug but super comfortable.

It is perfectly fitting width wise. I would just wished they were longer, it would add more drama. The material is exceptional.

The gloves are beautiful, and the delivery was very fast, but the fingers are too long. I provided the length for my index finger, so I thought that the fingers would fit better.

These gloves are absolutely gorgeous! I purchased them to wear to my son’s wedding in January. The fit is perfect and the velvet is so soft. I can’t wait to wear them. My black strapless gown is now complete. Thank you!

Beautifully made and fit like a.. well, you know. Arrived super speedily, and beautifully packaged, including a dust bag, which will keep them safe in my luggage. Very pleased to be able to specify multiple measurements to get the perfect fit, it’s if they were made just for me, which of course - they were! Thank you CJ, I can’t wait to wear these beauties to the theatre, to Christmas parties, and casually scrunched down below the elbow with my cape to dial up the style all winter long.
